I am Carolina Suárez and I am a total skeptic.

I recently bought a bottle of Downy Total Care, which promises to retain the color and shape of your clothes. Can you believe this? This sounded so surreal to me that I decided to do an experiment. I had to prove it. I couldn't help myself. So I have started this blog.

The blog will track my Sweater World Tour.

I bought two of the same sweaters, which I washed with Downy Total Care. In a box, I sent one of the sweaters to my friend Mary, in California, to start the test.


In the box, I sent the following:

- The sweater
- A bottle of Downy Total Care
- Shipping labels to forward on the package
- Detailed instructions.


Here's how it will work: The "selected” participant will wear the sweater for a week, taking pictures or videos of themselves and posting them to this blog. At the end of the week, the person must wash the sweater with Downy Total Care, prepare the package with all the original elements that came in it, and send it to the next person on the list to participate in this experiment.

Once the bottle of Downy Total Care is finished, whomever has the sweater has to send it back to me for comparison. Then we'll see if it really does what it promises to do.
